Cochrane Systematic Reviews: Trusted Evidence for Wise Decisions in Medical Education, Research and Practice

Dear colleagues,

We invite you to participate in the International Workshop «Cochrane Systematic Reviews: Trusted Evidence for Wise Decisions in Medical Education, Research and Practice», dedicated to the official opening of the new home of Cochrane Russia - Russian Medical Academy for Continuing Professional Education (RMANPO).

Date and time: 3 December 2021, 9.00 – 15.05 (Moscow time)

Location: Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution for Continuing Professional Education "Russian Medical Academy for Continuing Professional Education" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

Workshop format: virtual (online)

Workshop organisers: Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education (RMANPO) and Cochrane Russia supported by Cochrane CET, Cochrane Denmark, Cochrane Sweden, EVIPNet - Europe (WHO Regional Office for Europe) and Wiley.

The objective of the workshop: To introduce Russian Medical Academy for Continuing Professional Education (RMANPO) as a new home of Cochrane Russia and to demonstrate the unique role of Cochrane Systematic Reviews in Knowledge Translation for Wise Decisions in Medical Education, Research and Health Systems.

Workshop languages: Russian, English

Simultaneous translation will be provided (English - Russian; Russian - English) with broadcasting.

The minimum required time of presence is 285 minutes (constantly or intermittently). The required number of confirmations is 5 out of 6.

Workshop broadcast
will take place on the website cochrane-russia.cddexpert.com. On the eve of the Workshhop, each registered participant will receive an e-mail with an individual link to the broadcast. On the day of the broadcast, the BROADCAST button will appear in the site menu.

Programme

The Workshop program provides for group discussions (two discussions, the first after the first half of the agenda, and the second after the second half). When discussions will be just about to start, a link to go to the rooms will be sent to the general chat of the broadcast (there will be several rooms). All participants will be randomly assigned to rooms. After the discussion in groups, the workshop participants return to the broadcast window on the website cochrane-russia.cddexpert.com.
